What brush to use for your foundation

We help you find the perfect brush to apply your favourite foundation and achieve a professional result. They will all give you a great finish without lines or streaks so that your face looks perfect for hours and hours. To choose your brush, keep in mind the following points:

-        Synthetic hair: liquid or cream foundations work perfectly with this type of hair. They don’t absorb the product and so you apply just the right amount. In addition, they are very easy to clean.

-        Hair shape:

o  Short and dense with a flat cut: like the Professional Makeup liquid foundation brush and the Beter Elite Kabuki no. 76. They are very precise and the finish on the skin is very light.

Flat and pointed end cut, firm and soft hair: it slides smoothly and reaches all angles of the face, providing good coverage.

Pointed graded cut: such as the Beter Elite no. 22 high precision brush, with smooth, dense hair that gives a very natural finish. It is also good for disguising imperfections such as spots or redness.

When you apply your foundation, it is important to use movements from the centre of the face to the outside. It is preferable to apply a small amount of product and blend it well until it melts with the skin.

And if you prefer sponges, the Beter Elite Blending sponge is very versatile: the rounded side for areas such as forehead and cheeks, the pointed side for the eye socket and sides of the nose. A 2-in-1 product that works great if you wet it before applying your foundation.

The wedge sponge is also very practical, with triangular-shaped segments that give you maximum control over the precise application of foundation or concealer. If you want to see all the Professional Makeup brushes in action,
